The
NEW
Model 6310.4 Vet-Therm is a non-contact, handheld infrared thermometer that is used to
measure the surface of targets in veterinary applications. It measures
temperatures with ±0.25ºC or 0.25ºF accuracy from -15ºC to 45ºC or
-60ºF to
115ºF. The resolution of the Model 6310.4 is
0.1ºC or 0.1ºF.
The thermometer has our new
Vario-Zooom
variable focus feature. One instrument has fields
of view variable from 4º down to 5mm target spot size, making it useable
for a number of veterinary applications.
Also, the Model 6310.4
incorporates our TTL/SLR Intra-Optical Light Sighting System (Patent No.
4,494,881). A visible light
illuminates the EXACT Target AREA being measured. The pattern of
the detector is projected in order to see its exact size, position and texture
on the target, thereby offering a three-dimensional measurement of the target.
The lighting system uses a safe Light Emitting Diode and not a laser. The
resultant temperature measured is displayed on a numeric Liquid Crystal display
on the Rear Panel of the Vet-Therm.
The end-user can select
to measure the Infrared target temperature, the Ambient Dry Bulb Air temperature
or the Differential between the two (Patent No. 4,301,682).
